It is most definitely official: Miley Cyrus can’t be tamed.
Just a few days after she said in an interview that those who criticize her skimpy outfits are sexist, the young singer went all out at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards… by hanging pretty much all out on the red carpet. See for yourself:

Robin Gibb, one of three brothers who made up the Bee Gees and their now-iconic 1970s sound, has died. The singer succumbed to cancer at 62.
Gibb “passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery,” said a statement, which was attributed to Robin’s family.
He died in England at 10:47 a.m., according to his family.
Diagnosed with colon and liver cancer, Gibb had been in a coma as he battled pneumonia earlier this spring, representative Doug Wright said.
Doctors believe that Gibb had a secondary tumor, for which he had emergency surgery in 2010 for a blocked bowel and then had more surgery.
The only surviving member of the three Bee Gees is brother Barry, 65. Robin’s twin brother, Maurice, died in 2003 from similar health problems.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame says on its website of Gibb’s band:
“In the 1970s, the Bee Gees dominated dance floors and airwaves. With their matching white suits, soaring high harmonies and polished, radio-friendly records, they remain one of the essential touchstones to that ultra-commercial era.”

News of his death set off a torrent of reaction in social media. Musician Bryan Adams, for instance, lamented “another great singer dying too young.”
“The Bee Gees were/are the gold standard when it comes to pop/r&b melody, harmony and vocal arrangement. Massive loss,” wrote Claude Kelly.
Fellow British band Duran Duran and current pop sensation Bruno Mars were among many who posted their condolences to Gibb’s brothers.

Quite the week for Mark Zuckerberg.
The Facebook founder and CEO married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan in a casual, intimate wedding at his Palo Alto, Calif., home on Saturday.
The couple, both 28, met at Harvard and have been going steady for nine years. They got hitched in front of about 100 family members and friends.
The wedding guests reportedly thought they had gathered merely to celebrate Chan’s graduation from medical school at the University of California.
Surprise, surprise.
Just one day earlier, Mark made one of the most anticipated moves in finance history in Facebook’s IPO, taking his company public at last.
A company spokeswoman said Zuckerberg designed the wedding ring for Priscilla Chan himself, and it featured “a very simple ruby.”
And yes, Zuckerberg made it official and public by, of course, changing his status on Facebook from “In a Relationship” to “Married.”

Nick Stahl, who was reported missing last week, has surfaced.
Better yet, the actor is apparently unharmed, and seeking help.
Friday, he told friends via e-mail he planned to get help and seek treatment for his substance abuse problem, and now, Stahl’s wife Rose confirmed that he has.
The Terminator 3 star checked into rehab Saturday night.
According to a source, Stahl apologized for “worrying everyone,” said he wanted to get help and that he was planning to seek treatment in a rehab center.
He had not been seen since May 14.
The 32-year-old, who went missing more than a week ago, was “really working hard” at sobriety at the time of his disappearance, according to his wife.
“He wants to be well,” Rose, who has been estranged from Nick for an unknown period, stated. “He’s a good man and we want him home so we can help.”
Hopefully, this means the beginning of his road to recovery.

A recent movie date for Timothy Busfield didn’t go as planned, apparently.
The woman is now accusing the famed actor of sexual battery after he took her to the ArcLight theaters in Sherman Oaks, Calif., Wednesday night.
Sources say that the two began kissing during the movie, but the woman claims that an assertive Busfield groped her in the breast and genital areas.
She wasn’t a fan.
TMZ reports that the woman abruptly ended the date and went to the police the next day, filing a report against Busfield alleging sexual battery.
Police are investigating the claims.
The actor, best known for The West Wing, Thirtysomething, Field of Dreams and Revenge of the Nerds, hasn’t been arrested or charged in the case.

We’re down to two on American Idol. The final two. Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez.
One is a young white male who is easy on the eyes and plays the guitar. In other words: the same exact pedigree as the last four winners.
The other has a beautiful voice and hasn’t been afraid all year long of tacking such major artists as Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She’s responsible for the single most memorable American Idol performance of the season.
Either would be a worthy champion. Only one will wear the crown next Thursday night.

The controversial new biography of President Barack Obama claims that his wife, Michelle Obama, planned to leave the future president in 2000.
Is the divorce story real? Is anything in the book?
The unauthorized biography, which Klein claims is based on nearly 200 interviews, has been dismissed by presidential spokesperson Eric Schultz.
“Ed Klein has a proven history of reckless fabrication in order to sell books,” he said. “Nobody in their right mind would believe the nonsense in this one.”
Nevertheless, the Obama divorce story is the latest revelation in the book – which also discusses his ex Genevieve Cook – to generate major buzz.
In The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House, out this week, Klein claims the divorce nearly happened eight years into the Obamas’ marriage.
After Obama failed to listen to his wife’s warnings in challenging Bobby Rush for his U.S. House seat in 2000 and got creamed, their relationship cooled.
“During the dark days that followed his defeat, he turned to Michelle for comfort. But she was in no mood for sympathy,” Klein reportedly writes.
“He had refused to listen to her warnings about taking on Rush.”
The primary left them in debt and Barack depressed, Klein claims. “Michelle actually had divorce papers drawn up,” he writes, citing one of her friends.
“Obama was so depressed that some of his friends worried that he was suicidal,” the book adds, without elaboration on that particular point.
Obama, of course, was still in the Illinois State Senate, and went on to win a U.S. Senate seat in 2004 that helped establish his national credentials.
But Michelle almost vetoed the Senate race, too.
Northwestern University professor Steven Rogers told Klein that Obama talked about his ambition after they met at a golf fund-raiser.
“My wife will not allow me to run for the Senate until I clear up the debts from my unsuccessful run for Congress,” Obama said, according to Rogers.

He didn’t drop any condoms on the red carpet, but Will Smith experienced his own unusual situation during a movie premiere press line this week.
The actor was in Moscow on behalf of Men in Black III when a reporter from the Ukraine embraced the star with a hug… and then tried to follow that up with a kiss on the lips.
“He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him,” Smith is heard telling someone else soon afterward, though he responds very well from the saliva-based attack and is quickly seen below laughing about it.
It’s hard to blame Smith for his initial, surprised reaction, though, isn’t it? Watch it all unfold now:
